Telangana Sakala Janula Samme -- Permanent Losses To AP Govt.

Permanent Losses to AP govt. due to Sakala Janula Samme of 25 days (this also indirectly conveys that more than 70 % of AP income is solely generated from Telangana region):
  1. Treasury                          -- 1300 cr
  2. Commercial taxes           -- 600 cr
  3. Stamps & Registration   -- 500 cr
  4. RTA                                  -- 600 cr
  5. Singareni                          -- 300 cr
  6. RTC                                  -- 100 cr
  7. E-seva                               -- 400 cr
  8. Electricity                        -- 200 cr
  9. Revenue dept.                  -- 300 cr
  10. GHMC                             -- 400 cr
  11. Excise                               -- 300 cr
  12. others                               -- 900 cr
Approximately all sum up to 6000 cr in 25 days and if we apply this uniformly for 12 months, which may amount to 72,000 -- 75,000 crores. The AP budget for 2011-12 is proposed as 1,28,770.06 crores and if we deduct the capital receipts (debts and loans from banks, GOI, others) of 27,778.54 crores and the AP total income is expected to be around 1,01,000 crores.

The Sakala Janula Samme factually proves what Telangana people & some planning commission members have been saying since decades, that 70% to 75% of AP income is generated from Telangana region (10 districts and 3.5 crore population). Andhra region, which has 13 districts and 5 crore population.

Telangana region excluding Hyderabad (3 crore population generates) more income (30 - 33% of AP income) compared to Andhra region of 13 districts with 5 crore population. However the expenditure is always the other way round, more in Andhra region and very less in Telangana region.
