Since We Fell in Love The Scotland Has Turned Beautiful

Since we fell in love
The Scotland has turned beautiful
There is new radiance all around
A strange freshness in the breeze
As you meet me in the valley
It seems as if highlands are singing

The splendor of nature is enveloped in mist
The Loch Lomond is silent, the bank still
There is nothing but us and the little boat
Sailing along with the helping hand of waves
How enchanting is our togetherness
The Scotland has turned beautiful

We will sit upon the rocks
Seeing the Shepherds feed their flocks
Those valleys, groves, hills, and fields
A new season brought good fortunes and
The Scotland has turned beautiful

We walk in troughs and furrows
Clasping your hand in mine
The gold of the setting sun melts about us
But all I see is you
The state of my heart is strange
The Scotland has turned beautiful

No one around us can see
Quietly I weave dreams
What your glance tells me
I can hear it with my eyes
Our love is one of kind
The Scotland has turned beautiful

Since we fell in love
The Scotland has turned beautiful

Since we fell in love
The Scotland has turned beautiful
